Since our last post, lot of development has taken place in our Gaushala. We have added two more sheds; the number of cows has also increased to more than 150. Two rooms, one office and one doctors room, have also been constructed. Four additional staff members have been engaged taking the total number of regular staff to eight. Two part time veterinary doctors visit the gaushala regularly for treatment of injured and sick cows. All this has been made possible because of generous contributions in form of cash and material by our donors.
Another activity started recently by us is the preparation of vermi-compost from cow-dung. We are also planning to install a plant for distillation of cow urine.
